Olympians (Grades 1-5)
Olympians occurs every Wednesday night at 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Children’s Wing. Children will learn the importance of a daily quiet time, scripture memory, bible study, faithfulness to the local church and Christian service. Through the principle of Christian service we will participate in Southern Baptist Missionary studies.

The Olympian Ministry can be summed up into three words: KNOW, GROW, and SHOW.  Our first emphasis is giving children the opportunity to KNOW Jesus personally through salvation.  Second, we want children to GROW in their relationship with Jesus.  Finally, we want to equip children to SHOW Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.  We will stress the importance of a daily quiet time, scripture memory, Bible study, faithfulness to the local church, and Christian service.  Through the principle of Christian service we will participate in Southern Baptist Missionary studies.



Each Wednesday night the boys and girls will participate in an Opening Ceremonies, Bible Study, Small Group Discipleship, and Big O-vent game time.  The Opening Ceremonies is an upbeat segment of the program designed to get the children excited and ready for the message.  The Coach’s Bible Challenge is a time where God’s Word is taught and applied at an appropriate age level.  The Personal Training Time is the small group time.   This time is used to reinforce the Bible lesson, discuss the Quiet Time, pray, and go over tasks completed through the week, such as memory verses, Christian Service, and Christian books.  The Big O-vent Game Time is made up of exciting games on the child’s age level.  All children should be in the gymnasium by 6:15 pm.  Parents can pick their child up from the gym at the conclusion of Olympians.

Kids Praise
Our graded program is for children in grades 1-5.  They meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.  In addition to singing, a variety of teaching tools including games, instruments and choreograph are used during choir time.  Our Children’s Choirs often participate in our Church Musicals.

Children’s Sunday School
Our classes are designed to equip children to live God’s purpose for their lives.  Through Bible stories and lessons the children will discover that God has created us for a purpose.  Application is then made from the scriptures to everyday living.  The teachers strive to make the learning fun, creative and exciting!  Classes for children in grades 1-5 meet every Sunday morning in the Children’s Wing at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Children’s Church (Grades K-3)
Children will enjoy worship through exciting kid's music.  They are challenged spiritually with a mission story and Bible story on their level.  They collect an offering and have prayer time.  The children will also enjoy puppets and skits that both entertain and teach spiritual truths.  Children’s Church is for Kindergarten and 1st Grades (9:00 a.m.) and 2nd and 3rd Grades (10:30 a.m.) in the Treehouse.

I’m a Christian Now (Grades 1-5)
This is a special class designed to inform new believers about what it truly means to be a Christian.  Topics such as salvation, eternal security, baptism, offering, personal quiet time, prayer and the Lord’s Supper will be discussed. Children will take this class for one month before they receive a certificate of completion and graduate. Each month we alternate classes between younger children (grades 1 & 2) and older children (grades 3-5). This class meets for 4 weeks in room A101 during the 9:00 a.m. serve.  (Check the church calendar for specific dates).

Bible Skills, Drills, & Thrills
Ths Program is for children in grades 4-5. This class is offered on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. The children learn the books of the Bible, Bible verses, and how to locate key Bible passages. Bible Drill competitions on the association and state levels are held in April. Space for this class is limited. Call the church to sign up or for more information.
