Dr. A. Ray Newcomb,

Dr. Ray Newcomb served as senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Millington, for 33 years. During his tenure as pastor, the church experienced phenomenal growth in membership, with yearly baptisms ranking consistently in the top of the state, and the construction of a new church campus at 5010 West Union. During his final sermon at First Baptist on May 17, 2009, he encouraged church members to keep spreading the Word of God. His wish for First Baptist is continual growth through the service of FBC members.
